Two Tickets To Paradise Movie Review

Hallmark’s Summer Nights 2022 season is over already! “Two Tickets To Paradise” was the finale of the June 2022 movies. And personally, as you’ll see in the “Two Tickets to Paradise” movie review, I think they saved the best for last! Ashley Williams and Ryan Paevey shine, along with the island of Oahu!

I can hardly believe it, but this is the end of the Hallmark 2022 Summer Nights movies! Occasionally, they will add a few more in August, after Christmas in July. But for now, “Two Tickets To Paradise” is the last of the Summer Nights movies for 2022. And I have to say, this one did not disappoint! The location is beautiful in Oahu, and Ashley Williams and Ryan Paevey as the stars don’t disappoint either! I’ve never been to Hawaii, but this movie makes a strong case to go! And who doesn’t love a double “Left at the alter” trope!? I hope you enjoy the “Two Tickets to Paradise” movie review to follow!

My Review:

I have to say, I adored this movie from beginning to end. I love, love, love Ashley Williams and this movie lets her do what she is meant to do! It’s super funny and it’s super real and I LOVED it. I loved the story, I loved the scenery, love love love love love. More Hawaii?! Yes, please!

I thought it was very original that they had BOTH been left at the alter. I like that the script writers didn’t tie things up in a week’s time and that they let Ashley Williams and Ryan Paevey go back to their everyday lives and then find each other a little later on after some time had passed. I hated Ashley Williams’ fiance in the movie (just the character, the actor NAILED it for me to have such strong feelings!), who is played by Tim Herkenhoff.

Do you love the stars of this movie?! Well, the guys interviewed Ashley Williams back in 2019 and Ryan Paevey in 2019 as well! And they are both great! Obviously, these interviews don’t pertain to the “Two Tickets to Paradise” movie review, but I adore both these actors and their interviews are fantastic!

Location, Location, Location

Hawaii is just gorgeous. I have never been, but between this movie and “Hidden Gems”, I have a serious desire to go! It’s definitely on my bucket list for sure!

“Two Tickets to Paradise” was shot on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. Some footage was filmed near and around Honolulu as well. The resort is The Royal Hawaiian, and man did it look amazing! They did several shots on the beaches of Waikiki as well!

Fun Film Facts

Ryan Paevey grew up in Southern California and is an avid surfer! In “Two Tickets To Paradise” he does all of his own surfing stunts!

Wrap Up – Two Tickets to Paradise Movie Review

That’s it for the Summer Nights June movies! I truly enjoyed “Two Tickets To Paradise” and would definitely watch it again. I thought the two main characters had great chemistry and the scenery makes it like you are taking a mini-vacation when you watch the movie. And Ryan Paevey is shirtless… a lot. What more do you need!? I hope you enjoy this movie as much as I did! Let me know what you think!!
